New Zealand, with the size of Colorado, is a country of green fields, rolling hills, beautiful beaches, snow capped mountains and glaciers. Composed of two major islands, this country southeast of Australia enjoys temperate climates.

History: In the 1800s, the Maori people entered into an agreement with Great Britain, who subsequently colonized the country. Ensuing ethnic wars began and in 1907, New Zealand became an independent nation. Although Christianity is claimed as the religion by most people, the majority of New Zealanders is unchurched and has been mostly unresponsive to the Gospel.
